It’s a busy July..

There are a lot of great things coming up in town, so get out those calendars to make sure you don’t miss out !


Love Noir

Starring Maris Wicker and Lonny Smith, with Barbara Schelstrate at the piano, the show examines  the dark sides of love through the lens of Tin Pan Alley composers Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Weill, and Harold Arlen.

Performances at the Point, which is at 1013 7th Street NW, Washington DC, across from the Convention Center.

 Run Away with Me, a Contemporary Cabaret 

Starring  Terri Allen, Emily Leatha Everson, Justin Ritchie, and Lonny Smith with Mary Sugar playing, the show presents music that is wide-ranging, fun, and accessible – drawing inspiration from country to Broadway to the Muppets. 

It performs at the Baldacchino Gypsy Tent (complete with its own bar) at 607 New York Avenue NW, Washington DC on:

Joe Peck and Tom Nichols will team up on July 23 at 8 p.m. for an awesome performance of alternative, folk, pop, and blues music to benefit the non-profit Open Circle Theatre as part of the Sounds of Hope series. Open Circle highlights the contributions and performances of individuals (on and off the stage) with disabilities. Come out and meet Artistic Director Susie Richard while enjoying two guitar-toting modern day troubadors.

Suggested donation is $15 (and up) at the door. Potter’s House is in the heart of the popular DC dining and enterainment destination neighborhood of Adams Morgan. Dinner service begins at 7 p.m., so why not make an evening of it?


July 6th to July 23rd Signature truly sizzles with an amazing variety of cabaret performances, with highlights that include Goldrich & Heisler (July 23rd), Bob MacDonald ina tribute to John Raitt (july 23rd), Tracy Lynn Olivera (July 15th), Will Gartshore (July 16th), and much, much more!


Germano’s continues its full schedlue of events.  Oh, and one of the highlights of the month is Somewhere There’s Music on Saturday, July 24th featuring Barry Abel, Kathy Reilly, Mary Reilly, Eileen Warner and your favorite blogger.
