Colleen Clancy in “Tips for Life” Aug 12, 2010 at 7:30 pm

Join rising star Colleen Clancy as she takes us on a musical journey through the joys of life with a few tips and pieces of advice for the bumps along the way.

Charisma and Friends Aug 13, 2010 at 7:30 pm

Charisma’s voice has a warm earthy sound with a slight raspiness of a blues singer (some might classify as contralto); but she can reach the clear soprano spinto clarity. Her voice invites you into the story, as if she is telling you a secret, states Hamil Harris, The Washington Post.

This Helen Hayes nominated playwright, actor and vocalist will be joined by Divas Frances Notley, Karla Wynn Diouf, Tiajuana Rountree, comedian Trevor Joyner and Maestros Darryl Winston and Stef Scaggiari. This evening will include eclectic music from Classical, Broadway, Gospel/Blues and Jazz genres. You will laugh and cry. Come and spend a wonderful evening with “Charisma and Friends!”

Gary Rubin in “Living Life” Aug 14, 2010 at 7:30 pm

The charming Gary Rubin returns to the Cabaret to sing the songs that inspire him—from Sinatra to Sting, accompanied by Brent Hardesty on piano.
