Kathy Reilley & Bob Smith at the Serbian Crown

It was great to see Kathy Reilly perform with Bob Smith at the Serbian Crown restaurant Sunday evening. Kathy offered a very stylish set of songs and Bob was his usual, supportive self at the keys.

Kathy looked terrific in an emerald moiré sheath. Her selections straddled the span of cabaret and jazz, to the advantage of both. Highlights included a wistful version of Charade and charming version of Paris, Kentucky. She also scored multi-lingually, with the Spanish song Sabor a Mi and J’Attendrais in French. In their encore, the two teamed to offer a ridiculously charming Two Sleepy People.

Here’s her program:

  • Set 1
    • Live for Life
    • Make Me Rainbows
    • Charade
    • Paris, Kentucky
    • The Coffee Song
