Stephen Holden on Eric Michael Gillett

The NYTimes reviews the latest incarnation of the ringmaster/cabaret singer’s Craig Carnelia show: “The verb “sings” is really inadequate to evoke the acute empathy with which Eric Michael Gillett transformed theater songs by Craig Carnelia into lived experience on Wednesday. To disgorge the truth, he is not afraid to risk looking ridiculous.”
